This is the 12-KV switchgear on level 264 which feeds 12Kv power arond the site to certain transformers. The Main Magnet and the RF system get their own separate switchgear.
The other big switches in these brown cabinets control the power to 12Kv to-480V transformers around the site. The output of these transformers is controlled by several banks of MCC switches (MCC = Motor Control Center) just to the left on picture 44, and also at various other places about the site, notably on the ISIS floor above the offices opposite the Main Control Room, this is also where the Control Room and RF Room and Level 264 air conditioning systems are located.
