A Device which has Attached by means of a General Broadcast (case 1) or Pattern Select Broadcast (cases 3, 3a), on seeing a secondary address cycle with an unimplemented NTA and good parity, will become disconnected (SS=0). On seeing a secondary address cycle with bad parity the Device will remain attached and issue SS=7 (to allow a re-try of the cycle).
A Device which has Attached by any other method (geographic, logical, Class N broadcast (Case 2), Manufacturer defined broadcast (Case 8)), on seeing any valid or invalid secondary address cycle, will remain attached.
This behaviour (disconnecting) cannot be overridden by external logic.
