9.1.1 Advanced Mode

FASTBUS Advanced Mode may optionally be selected by jumper; see Section 8. If advanced mode is not selected, the module will respond with SS=6 to any Data Cycle with MS > 3. If advanced mode is selected, the module will respond to Data Cycles as shown in Table 4.

Note that the enabling of advanced mode is undetectable to any Master incapable of generating MS>3.
