In normal operation the compacted data is read out until an SS=2 is issued
(End-of-Block). If a further read cycle is attempted SS=2
will be issued immediately as there is no more data. If a re-read pulse is
generated then the compacted data pointers will be reset and the data will
again be available for readout. This feature may be used in the event of a
data transmission error.
