The Skirt Width is programmable between 0 and 3 for each channel. The Skirt
is the portion of the input data less than threshold that is recorded either
side of a cluster that exceeds the threshold. The default skirt width is
zero.
Figure 5 shows the effect of Threshold, Skirt and MPW control
on the output data. These histograms are reconstructed from the compacted
data with zeroes inserted where data had been suppressed.
